A large portion of our sales are driven by home renovations or new construction. Here in Bulgaria, the season of repairs and construction is now year-round. Many builders and handymen insist that all materials be in place before the project begins. This avoids delays once work begins, as they have everything they need if the project moves faster than expected.
Even if your contractor doesn't insist that the fireplace be in place before he starts, it's a good idea to be prepared. We suggest you order the fireplace at least 3 weeks before you need it. In our showroom, we can receive most items within 3 to 10 days, but if the product is out of stock, delivery may take several months. Better safe than sorry!

As with any renovation project, it's always a good idea to have the fireplace in place before you actually need it. Having the fireplace before you start allows you to be sure of the dimensions and what is described in the installation instructions. Having an instruction manual is no substitute for having the fireplace in hand. The best way to avoid costly mistakes is to have the fireplace before you start building the wall.
It's not a mistake if you want to buy a fireplace after winter has arrived, but it's certainly not the wisest time. The best time to buy a fireplace is in the summer, when you have enough time to think and prepare. We know no one likes to stay warm inside when the temperatures outside soar, but there really are lots of sensible and practical reasons why we should do it anyway.
Here are just a few of them:
Stock Availability: Whether it's mid-summer or early winter, fireplaces can be out of stock or out of stock for no specific or obvious reason. Electric fireplaces can have a rush in the winter and no matter what stock we have, they can run out. The fireplace you want may be extremely popular or unpopular. Both of these options are possible reasons for being out of stock. In winter, this is a problem because you may have to wait a longer time for delivery, and in the meantime you are left without a suitable source of heating.
The cold weather makes the choice of heating devices for the home urgent.
This makes the summer season the best time to install a fireplace.
